so much to learn here. I have two questions: a) did those brands reach out to you via LinkedIn or is there another platform you can recommend for people that are not on LinkedIn and b) can you write a post about pitching to brands? would be super curious to learn more!
Even I have faced the same issue on LinkedIn. I was doing quantity > quality. Having had the experience I have learned the linkedIn gurus who say post 5 times and 100 other things. That isn't relevant to me. So, now the focus is on quality and getting those engagement up by forming a like-minded community.
I’ve been hearing this advice for the last 3-4 years. It’s true - an increasing number of brands are more concerned with engagement rather than the amount of followers someone has. There is even a formula that lets you calculate the rate of engagement per post. Thank you for sharing this concept.
Thank you for this post, this is what I needed to see.
But I've a question, for example if I have an idea or inspiration to do something, and i feel that I need to get the equipment for it, but I don't have the funds, should i just wait to get those gadget, or just start like that.
Sounds way better than “follow me and I’ll follow you” 🤷🏽♂️ lol
who wants that anyways :)

Thank you, Claudia. To answer your questions:
a - both. But this platform helped me reach out consistently and get really good brand partnerships too: https://passionfroot.cello.so/Uzr1wd6DLsi
b - definitely, a masterclass is also underway

I am sure it feels more refreshing and authentic to you now and your audience sees that too.
thank you Ana for this thoughtful note. If I had to sum up the learning, it is that authenticity wins everytime.
The more I tried to look like that corporate bitch who would not stop at anything, the more miserable I was.
The moment I stoped chasing numbers of any kind, that’s when the magic switched on.
Being you has never been more rewarding.
Fully agree 👍🏽
This post is awesometastic! 🤩
Definitely reading this! I’m a creator too and can’t wait to connect with you and your community. I write about our world too 🙈

Great insight, it's good sometimes not to chase numbers, concentrate on your passion, numbers will follow you.
